Parker Thomas

PARKER THOMAS draws on his extensive expertise in education and entrepreneurship to create programs and spaces that encourage creativity and learning. Prior to FUSE, he was managing partner of Mirus Labs, a design studio focused on improving learning organizations, and a co-founder of Urban Montessori Charter School in Oakland. Parker has built and sold two companies, managed the DARPA MENTOR Makerspace program (which gave high school students access to tools and a designated space to learn how to design and build), and co-invented ThinkFun’s Maker Studio, a building toy sold in bookstores and toy stores. He earned a BS from the College of Wooster, and an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Business at Vanderbilt.
