GREG St. ARNOLD is an educator, leader, and coach who has worked with students, educators, and communities in the U.S. and internationally to build a safer, more just world. In his previous role with the Jesuit Refugee Service, an international humanitarian organization, he served as director of the education unit and lead of the global education team, supporting 63 education projects in 22 countries around the world, with a specific focus on refugees and displaced people. Prior to working with the Jesuit Refugee Service, Greg was a middle school teacher and basketball and football coach in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Milwaukee is working to address the lack of early childhood care and education programs in low-income neighborhoods. Efforts are underway to create, scale, and sustain language and literacy programs in every neighborhood throughout the city. To support these efforts, FUSE will work with the Office of Early Childhood Initiatives to increase residents’ access to prenatal care, childcare, and learning-rich environments.
