Ashleigh Dennis develops relationships with local government partners to create projects that help municipalities better serve their residents.
Expanding educational opportunities for students faced with poverty is Ashleigh’s personal and professional priority. After completing a bachelor’s degree at Clemson University and researching policy that perpetuates inequities in South Carolina’s “Corridor of Shame”, ensuring all students have access to a high quality education has served as the driving force in Ashleigh’s professional career.
Prior to joining FUSE, Ashleigh served as the Executive Director of Recruitment and Talent Management for San Antonio Independent School District where she led the district’s talent acquisition efforts to support educating over 40,000 students in the heart of San Antonio. With over 15 years of experience in education management, Ashleigh has worked with a number school districts across the country including Shelby County Schools in Memphis, TN where she helped the district manage its human capital systems, policies and strategies to ensure effective teachers were hired during the largest school district merger in United States history. Ashleigh is an operations executive with repeated success in district turnaround situations and has proof positive expertise in devising strategies and building systems that help organizations thrive, grow, and set the example. She is an Innovative problem-solver with the ability to create solutions for complex talent and operational challenges.
Ashleigh holds a bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from Clemson University and has a 17 year-old son and a dog named Staxx.
