Los Angeles & LA County

Improving Care and Wellness by Streamlining the Patient Enrollment Experience
FUSE will implement data-driven recommendations to optimize enrollment operations, and further build out a suite of patient-centered enrollment resources and materials. These efforts will ensure DHS will meet its goal and that primary care providers can support coordinated and continuous care to patients, especially as the Covid-19 pandemic persists.

Building Healthier Communities by Establishing an Enterprise-Wide System of Care
Over the next year, FUSE will work to initiate an enterprise-wide system of care for radiology in the County. FUSE will implement standardized operating procedures across clinics and leverage DHS’ expansive network of community partners to decompress current backlogs.

Creating Equitable Pathways to Quality Jobs in Furtherance of L.A.’s Green New Deal
Building upon the work of several City partners, FUSE Corps will design and implement a strategy that connects communities, employers, unions, potential workers and training partners in creating direct pathways to specific careers in the climate resiliency space. FUSE will focus on executing strategies that build wealth opportunities for residents who have historically been most impacted by systemic barriers to entry into other professions as well as those currently working in declining fossil fuel sectors.
